Yesterday your child brought home two order catalogs from Scholastic Reading Club. These books are reasonably priced, and give your child a chance to select books that interest her/him. Please note that this is entirely optional; you are not required to order anything. If you would like to order books, please complete the order form in the appropriate catalog and return it to me with payment (cash, check or money order) by Monday, October 5. You may also order books on line and pay with a credit card. Visit scholastic.com, select Reading Club, and go to the link for parents. You will need to use our class activation code and create an account in order to place an online order. (Our class activation code is HTZR4. It is also written on the catalog.)
I hope that you and your child find some books to enjoy. Happy reading!
