We are writing personal narratives!

Our class has been working on writing personal narratives -- stories about things that happened in our own lives.  We have been learning how to choose a topic, tell one part of the story on each page of the book, and write words and draw pictures on each page.  First graders have lots of everyday experiences that make great stories.  As you and your child talk about things that you have done together, encourage him/her to write a book about it!
